  • We use the Pterodactyl Panel, which provides an intuitive interface for managing your game server. It includes SFTP access for easy file management and server configuration.
  • Premium plans feature NVMe storage for faster read/write speeds and higher CPU allocation, while Value plans use SSD storage and have lower CPU allocation. Both options provide reliable performance, but Premium offers enhanced speed and processing power for demanding applications.
  • All game servers come with backup slots included. You can create regular backups of your game data, configurations, and player information for easy restoration if needed. Please note that RackGenius is not responsible for any data loss that may occur.
  • No, we offer unlimited player slots on all our game servers. The actual number of players your server can handle will depend on your server resources and the game type.
  • Every game server rental comes with Pterodactyl panel access, SFTP, a live console, DDoS protection, backup slots and unlimited player slots, billed monthly with no setup fee. There is no separate charge for the panel or for slots, so the plan you pick is the price you pay.
  • Game hosting is the right choice for a single server you want running with as little administration as possible, since the panel handles installation, restarts and backups. Move to VPS hosting for game servers when you want to run several games on one machine, need a dedicated IP, or want control over the operating system itself. Dedicated game server hosting on bare metal is the step after that, for clusters and for anything that needs the whole machine.
  • CPU allocation varies by game and plan type. Minecraft servers get up to 150% CPU power, Rust servers up to 200% for high-performance requirements, and other games have CPU allocations optimized for their specific needs. Note that 100% CPU allocation equals one CPU thread.
  • From time to time, some users may upload unoptimized code, which can trigger rate limits for the entire server your slot is on. Due to the nature of shared hosting, we cannot guarantee that you will never be rate limited. If your bot is used in many servers, we recommend using a VPS with a dedicated IP.
